LEO GALLERY @ POP UP SPACE (SOHO 189 ART LANE)
With the work “Invasion: Sheung Wan” made at SOHO 189 pop up space, Jia Wen emulates the “wild life” amidst the hustle and bustle of metropolitan HK.
Stefano has created these 3D abstract installations entitled Stendhal-Syndrome where one can walk into some large balloons, made of shopping bags and colored see-through film papers. These creations were inspired by the artist’s feeling and experience of Hong Kong with the blend of nature scene and the skyscrapers, a place where one feels lost. These balloons seem to be providing hideaway space as shelter. With these creations, Stefano wants to convey how colors and shapes can express different emotions, while stimulating one's visual sense of touch at the same time.
